Majed Akhter’s research and teaching is at the intersection of development geography, and environment/resource studies, and geopolitics. His work develops a historical-geographical materialist approach to questions of technology, territory, and trans-regional relations, especially in an Asian and Pakistani context. Akhter is a Senior Lecturer in Environment and Society at King’s College London, England.
