Nushelle de Silva is an Assistant Professor of Art History at Fordham University. Her research intersects cultural, environmental, and economic history. A strand of her current work looks at climate conditions in museums, standards for which are claimed to be set with object conservation in mind, yet are premised on an enduring colonial bias toward "temperate" climate.
