Rhea Shah is an architect from Mumbai with a Master in Landscape Architecture from the Graduate School of Design, Harvard University. She runs a practice, 'Aranya Design', that concerns itself with the pursuit of beauty through making environmentally and socially sensitive systems, spaces, landscapes, objects and art. Rhea has previously also worked in publication design and film curation and has taught design at CEPT University, Ahmedabad, SEA and KRVIA, Mumbai, and UoU, Amsterdam. She is deeply interested in ways that design can bridge the artificial rifts between nature and culture, inside and outside, built form and landscape, object and network to positively affect society and ecology.
