Naeem

Umar Naeem is an architect and urbanist from Quetta, Pakistan, now navigating the evolving urban contexts of Germany. With six years of experience across urban-scale, commercial, institutional, and residential projects, his practice is grounded in ecological design, social equity, and the lived realities of communities. He has led architectural and urban projects at Interform Design Group in Quetta and co-developed Pakistan’s first Miyawaki micro-urban forest, an initiative recognized in Oxford University’s Nature-Based Solutions journal and later incorporated into Pakistan’s 10 Billion Trees Program. Umar views design not merely as a profession, but as a means to reimagine how people, nature, and cities can coexist.
